Blogging is a powerful way to share our writing with an authentic audience. But getting started can be challenging. Where do we begin? Educators from the #Dithchbook community shared lots of ideas.

Blogging gives educators a way to share their voice. It allows us as professionals an opportunity to collaborate with others and write for our peers. Through blogging, we can give others a window into our classroom. We can write about our passions. We can share ideas and resources with our professional learning network.

We can be heard.

In the classroom, we can provide this same opportunity to our students. By incorporating blogging into our curriculum we allow students to share their writing with an authentic audience.

So how do we get started? What are the best resources for beginning bloggers?

In a recent #Ditchbook chat, moderated by Karly Moura, educators shared their best tools, tips, and resources for blogging as educators and with students.

Check them out in the summary of this week’s chat below!
