How to transform teaching and learning with tech

The core ideas of teaching haven’t changed. But technology helps us to amplify those core ideas and take them to new levels. How do we do it? This video spells out practical steps educators can take.

They say that the world has changed so much. That technology is changing our world. In some ways, that’s true. But there’s one place where the world hasn’t changed so much.

Education.

“The goal is not to use great tools. The goal is to create amazing human beings.”

I don’t mean that in a negative way. It’s that the fundamental parts of education — teaching, how the brain learns, how we change after we’ve learned — are still very much the same.

We have plenty of technology available in schools these days.

How do we make the most of it?

How do we use it in meaningful ways?

Can technology help us improve how we teach and learn?

In this video, I share five ways that we can use the power of technology to do powerful teaching and learning.

Powerful teaching and learning in DIFFERENT ways, not by digitally replicating what we’ve always done.
