Rock these creative Google Slides templates in class

Google Slides is way, way, way more than a slide presentation tool. It’s a platform for students to display their creativity, work together in a shared space, and make something they can be proud of.

It’s nice to have some ideas to help kickstart our creative thinking when it comes to using Google Slides in non-traditional ways. That’s where Ryan O’Donnell can help.

He’s a technology TOSA (teacher on special assignment) and former social studies teacher from Rocklin, California.

Ryan has created some amazing Google Slides templates that you can grab right off his website and start using immediately. They include templates to create mock Instagram, Facebook and Twitter pages, covers for magazines like TIME, National Geographic and People, and even the Harry Potter “Daily Prophet” newspaper!

Check out Ryan’s templates on his website.

In this conversation on the Google Teacher Tribe podcast, co-host Kasey Bell and I have a great chat with Ryan about using G Suite in the classroom, leading professional development creatively, podcasting and more.
