Brisk Next: Smarter, personalized planning for your classroom

Imagine that you're sitting down to your desk to plan lessons. (And you have your favorite beverage ready to go.)

You have an idea of how that lesson might go. (Or that series of lessons. Or that unit.)

  • But ... maybe it's missing something.
  • Maybe you're stuck in a rut and have been doing the same activities over and over again.
  • Maybe it's just sort of lacking ... not connecting with students or getting the job done.

What you need are ideas -- lots and lots and lots of them! You can keep the best teaching resources, adjust the ones that are pretty good, and throw out the others.

Brisk Next is your "tons of teaching resources" creator. Tell it what you want to teach. Browse all of its suggestions ... and keep as many of them as you'd like! (And when its suggestions are a bit off, just tell it what to change in its chat feature and it'll adjust.)

The best part is how simple it all is. Just click to preview a resource, use the chat to tweak it with a few quick prompts, and then assign it directly to your students. It all comes together in one place—making planning, engaging, and assessing a seamless process.

Plus, you can rest easy knowing Brisk is built for schools. It's fully compliant with COPPA and FERPA, so student privacy is always protected.

Use Next to create resources to PREPARE learners

Planning lessons has never been easier. When you tell Brisk what you're teaching next, it immediately suggests a range of materials to help you prepare. This could be a comprehensive presentation to introduce a new topic, guided notes that keep students on track during a lecture, or a standards-based worksheet that gets them ready for the day's lesson. You have everything you need to build a solid foundation for your students before they even walk in the door, all aligned to your specific standards and grade level.

Here are some ideas:

Use Next to create resources to ENGAGE learners

Engaging students is key to a dynamic classroom, and Brisk Next is designed to help you do just that. It suggests interactive activities that bring lessons to life, like a podcast that explores a topic in a fresh way or a "Character Chat" that lets students have a conversation with a historical figure or a character from a book. These activities transform passive learning into an active, conversational experience that boosts critical thinking and keeps students excited about the material.

Here are some ideas:

Mystery Learning Hook - 4th Grade

When it's time to check for understanding, Brisk Next has you covered with a variety of assessment tools. You can quickly generate a quiz to see what students have learned, create a comprehensive rubric to provide clear expectations for an upcoming project, or use an exit ticket to get a quick snapshot of student comprehension. This allows you to gather meaningful data effortlessly, so you can see where your students are succeeding and where they might need a little extra support.

Here are some ideas:
